Care home For Older People

Birch Trees is a Nursing Home based on a magnificent Edwardian detached house, standing in its own pleasant grounds but very much part of the local community.

There is an attractive, private and enclosed garden to the rear of the property, with paved walk ways where residents can walk or sit within sight of the carers.

The home is located under 5 minutes drive from Midhurst High Street and 12 minutes drive from Haslemere town centre.

The surrounding area is one of natural beauty, with many Downland villages, the larger towns of Haslemere, Petersfield and the historic city of Chichester, within easy distance.

Midhurst itself boasts a number of attractions, including Cowdray House, now a ruin but still a monument to the architecture of the Tudor period, The Market hall, a 16th century timber building and the Town Hall, an early 19th century structure where the lock-up and stocks can still be seen.

Birch Trees has 22 all-single bedrooms, with nearly all having en-suite facilities with toilet and walk in showers.

The home has communal areas which comprise of a large comfortable lounge, a spacious dining room, and a quiet sitting room where residents may enjoy reading or entertaining visitors.
